The fencer image in the titlehead is from Plate 48, "The Salute: Fifth Position", of Old Sword-Play, by Sir Alfred Hutton. This work was originally published in 1892 and was transcribed into electronic form by Peter Valentine. Peter has done a tremendous service to the martial arts community by making this work available; while I am not aware that anyone owns intellectual property rights to the use of these images (as in how I have used this plate on my website), if you understand differently, please let me know.
